To The Rent A Cert Community:
When Rent A Cert started just over 2 years ago, we had a brilliant idea to help people get the most out of their
certifications. Putting idle certifiations to good use was our goal, and indeed remains so today.
I'm pleased to announce that after a couple years of working out the complexities of such an offering, we're back on track and
once again offering our rental certification program in a very much new-and-improved format. We now have an expanded selection of certifications to choose
from, additional compensation for individuals with certain multiple certifications, and an upgraded system for matching individuals to companies quickly and
accurately.
One of the most frequent requests from both certified individuals and companies (and not to mention the media!) was to add
additional value -- certified individuals want higher rates, and companies wanted more for their money in the form of a support agreement from the certified
individuals. To that end, we now include 4 hours of remote support from the certified individual in the monthly fee, which we feel is a huge win for
everyone involved. Companies now have on-call individuals at a great rate, and for the certified individuals, let's face it: in this economy, having an extra 4 hours of guaranteed
consulting work is never a bad thing! And of course, as in our previous program, certified individuals and companies are free to negotiate additional hours
for additional compensation as needed, via the Rent A Cert program.
