How Certificate
Renting Works

1. You submit your information to Rent A Cert, and we verify your certifications.

2. Companies request certifications to rent from Rent A Cert.

3. If a company requests a certification you have, we'll match you (and others) with them and pay you a monthly fee.

4. Companies guarantee a minimum term of 12 months, but you may leave the program with only 30 days notice.

We are the Internet's most popular place to find companies to rent your certification to. "Renting your certification" means associating your Microsoft and/or Cisco profile with a company in exchange for a monthly fee. Quick, easy recurring income for your credentials that may currently be unused.

As you will be associated with the company, you must make yourself available to do remote consulting for them. The monthly rate includes 4 hours of your time; beyond that, you may negotiate a rate for this with the company you are matched with.
